Donna Marotto is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Connecticut serving the Mystic shoreline area and many others through online therapy.


Donna received a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2007 from Central Connecticut State University and became licensed in the state of CT in 2016. She studied under the clinical supervision of Dr. Ralph Cohen; one of the many leaders for Internal Family Systems Therapy and also Dr. Daniel J. Weiner; founder and director of Rehearsals for Growth – Psychodrama therapy.


Donna completed her practicum and internship at the Franciscan Life Center in Meriden, CT. Upon graduation, she worked in an outpatient clinic for three years and then worked as a group home clinician for adolescent females with trauma. She then became employed by a non-profit in their jail diversion program, working with clients on parole and probation.

After leaving the jail diversion program, she opened a private practice in East Hartford before joining the CatholicPsych team. Along, with being a therapist, Donna is a Secular (third order) Franciscan and is part of the Korban Fraternity in Vernon, CT. She will also be commissioned as a lay minister through the Archdiocese of Hartford in June of 2018.
