I graduated college with a degree in economics and landed what most people would call a dream job: trading stocks for a seven-billion-dollar hedge fund. On paper it was perfect. In reality, I spent my days fascinated less by the markets and more by the unspoken tensions rippling across the trading floor. I started asking myself a quiet, persistent question: Is this really where I’m meant to be?
The Lord answered in His usual unmistakable way: He gave me a husband and, one after another, seven children. Suddenly I was exactly where my heart had always wanted to be: the person my husband turned to at the end of a hard day, the one my friends called in crisis, the safe place my children ran to with every joy and wound. I was living the vocation I’d sensed from the beginning.
And I was drowning.
I wasn’t sleeping. I was frazzled and short-tempered. I was praying and attending daily Mass, but I felt like I was unraveling.
That’s when Dr. Greg introduced me to Catholic Mindfulness–my first taste of the CatholicPsych approach. Finally, I understood what it felt like to be fully present to the people I loved. Something in me exhaled.
That small taste turned into a hunger. I began formal study in the Catholic Psychology Model of Applied Personalism, originally just so I could be a better wife and mother. But the deeper I went into theology, anthropology, and the breathtakingly beautiful Catholic vision of the human person, the clearer another call became: this work isn’t only for my own family. It’s for you too.
Today I spend my time doing what I have longed for: sitting with my mentees in the deepest rooms of their hearts. It is a staggering privilege to be invited there. I don’t take it lightly.
If you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk with you as you take the next brave steps toward that first exhale and discover the flourishing that the Lord has in mind for you.
Mentorship (technically called Integrated Daily Dialogic Mentorship, or IDDM) is neither traditional counseling nor spiritual direction, but occupies a unique space in between those two fields. Mentorship is daily accompaniment, looking at you and your story as an integrated whole, examined at your pace, with the goal of finding happiness and holiness in your life.
