FROM ENCOUNTER TO EVERYDAY LIFE
Keep becoming
who you are.
THE NEXT STEP AFTER THE SUMMIT
The Summit gives us time to listen, pray, and encounter a fuller vision of the human person. Then we return to the relationships and responsibilities where that vision matters most.
CPMAP gives you a regular place to keep doing this work. You study the model, reflect on your own interior life, and meet each week with a small group and a Formation Director who helps you bring the material into your experience.
The purpose is personal formation that shapes how you understand yourself and love the people God has given you.
LEVEL 1 / ENCOUNTER
Psychology, Catholic philosophy, and spirituality are taught together, so each helps you understand the others.
Philosophical anthropology01
Fundamentals of Personalism
Study St. John Paul II’s understanding of the person. Explore dignity, freedom, and human action, and what they mean for the way you see yourself and others.
Catholic spirituality02
The Psychospiritual Interior Life
Explore the relationship between your spiritual life and your emotional life, drawing on the work of Fr. Benedict Groeschel and Fr. Adrian van Kaam.
Psychological science03
Core Psychological Principles
Begin to recognize how attachment, development, and relationships shape patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior, within a Catholic understanding of the person.
Three courses, studied in relationship to one another and applied to your own life through reflection and conversation.
HOW FORMATION TAKES ROOT
Recorded teaching gives you flexibility. Your weekly group gives the work a regular time, real relationships, and someone to help you stay with it.
5–8 hoursper week for study, reflection, and your live group (typical estimate).
EVERY OTHER WEEK
New recorded lectures in all three subjects are released together. Make room for the readings, revisit a lecture, and spend time with the ideas.
PUT THE MATERIAL INTO WORDS
Written reflections help you connect what you are learning to your interior life. Each level also includes a final paper integrating its three courses.
ONE LIVE MEETING EACH WEEK
Join your Formation Director and small group on Zoom for a 60-minute meeting. Attendance at your assigned group time is a required part of the program.

THE CATHOLICPSYCH MODEL
Dr. Greg Bottaro and the CatholicPsych team developed CPMAP through more than a decade of integrating Catholic philosophical anthropology, traditional spirituality, and psychological science.
St. John Paul II’s personalism is central to the model. “Applied” means bringing that understanding into actual relationships, beginning with the person you are becoming.

This offer is for the next available cohort. Your $1,500 payment places you on the waitlist. January 2027 spots are currently open on a first-come, first-served basis, with the existing waitlist retaining its order. The next cohort after January begins in April 2027. The team will confirm your placement; paying does not automatically assign you to January. Admission remains subject to application review and acceptance.

Admission includes an application review, wholehearted belief in the teachings of the Catholic faith, and a regular, committed prayer life for at least the year before applying.
Level 1 is the beginning of the Formation Track. Professional accompaniment through the Partner Track requires a separate application during Level 2, acceptance, and supervised client practicum in Levels 3 and 4. Level 1 enrollment does not confer professional certification or licensure. CPMAP is an educational formation program, not psychotherapy or mental-health treatment.
You are enrolling in Level 1. You have the choice to continue to Level 2 after six months, subject to the program’s progression requirements. Future Formation Track levels are currently $3,000 each. The Partner Track has a separate application and tuition structure.
