Return & Refund Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you purchase it. This does not include subscription access to the Catholic Mindfulness Virtual Retreat and the Integrated Life products. Each payment made for a monthly or annual subscription is considered a final purchase.

Refunds

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non­refundable.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Catholicpsych, Inc., doing business as CatholicPsych Institute (“CatholicPsych,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates With by CatholicPsych (“With”). This policy explains the personal information we collect, use, share, retain, and protect when you use With. With is a private mentorship, supervision, formation, learning, and community service for authorized CatholicPsych members.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on your role and the features you use, we collect:

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, profile photo, account identifier, role, program enrollment, and mentorship or supervision relationships.

  • Intake and formation information: contact phone number and mailing address, information submitted through linked intake or reflection forms, relevant financial or payment-plan information, and student assessment or performance information where those features are part of your program.

  • Messages and content: direct and group messages, community posts, comments, reactions, prayer intentions, reflections, bookmarks, and other content you choose to submit.

  • Recordings and transcripts: voice recordings, related audio metadata, and generated transcripts.

  • Photos and video: profile images and media you choose to provide or view through the service.

  • Learning and app activity: course and lesson progress, Presence and reflection activity, saved items, notification state, read state, and feature interactions needed to provide and personalize the service.

  • Search, device, security, and diagnostic information: in-app searches, push-notification token, session and audit events, IP address and IP-derived country or coarse location, device or user-agent information, request logs, and limited diagnostic information generated when the service is used.

  • Support communications: information you provide when you ask us for help.

Because With supports Catholic formation and psychological mentorship or supervision, information you choose to share may include health or wellness information and religious or philosophical beliefs.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, and support accounts;

  • show the people, conversations, programs, content, and community spaces authorized for each user;

  • deliver messages, recordings, transcripts, notifications, course progress, and personalized in-app experiences;

  • provide professional documentation, mentorship, supervision, support, safety review, and dispute resolution;

  • operate, troubleshoot, protect, analyze, and improve With; and

  • comply with applicable contracts, professional duties, and legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases Where Applicable

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform our contract with you, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as operating and securing With, supporting users, professional documentation, supervision, safety, and resolving disputes. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. With does not display paid advertising or request Apple's advertising identifier or the Android advertising ID.

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, including to service providers that support cloud hosting, authentication, database and file storage, video delivery, voice transcription, transactional email, and push notifications. Current providers include Supabase, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Mailgun, Apple for iOS push notifications, and Google/Firebase for Android push notifications. Voice recordings submitted for transcription are sent to OpenAI's API. GIF searches and GIF media contact GIPHY, which receives search requests and network information under its own privacy policy. These providers process the information needed for their services under their applicable contractual and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or others from harm, to investigate abuse or security incidents, to establish or defend legal claims, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

5. Retention and Account Deletion

Non-client and non-student accounts are deleted immediately. Client and student accounts are processed within 30 days. Mentorship messages, recordings, conversations, and client records are retained for seven years for professional documentation, supervision, safety, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. Completion is confirmed by email.

You may start deletion in With under Profile/Settings > Delete account. You can also request deletion of your With account without installing the app: email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my With account". We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. The processing times, retention rules, and email completion confirmation described above apply to requests made in the app or by email. A valid legal hold or other binding legal obligation may require a specific record to be retained until that restriction ends. Other personal information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, then deleted or de-identified.

6. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You can update available profile and notification settings in With and can request account deletion inside the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. To make a privacy request or appeal a decision, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

7. International Data Transfers

CatholicPsych is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Adults Only

With is intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through With.

10. App Tracking and Marketing

With does not display paid ads or request Apple's advertising identifier or the Android advertising ID. Optional links can open websites operated by other companies; those sites may use cookies, analytics, or advertising under their own privacy policies. We may use your name and email address to send CatholicPsych service or program communications as permitted by law. You can opt out of promotional messages using the link in the message or by contacting support. Transactional messages such as authentication, security, service, and account-deletion confirmations may still be sent when needed to operate your account. Some program and marketing email records delivery, opens, and link clicks. Authentication and account-deletion confirmation emails are sent without open or click tracking.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in With, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required.
